During the pandemic we worked hard to ensure our clients safety was paramount. We are the hub of our community so we want to reassure our customers that we have installed the precautions necessary for your visit.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

To create a safe social distance within our salons we have made some changes.

YOUR HAIRDRESSER — Our salon is a large space so all our team have plenty of room to utilise safely with the client.

THE SALON SPACE

Hairdressing Sections – All of the hairdressing stations are social distanced apart. Our team members have set assigned stations they work from only.

Wash basins – A screen has been installed between both wash basins and this has also been marked out.

Reception/Ludlows Bar - We have installed a screen for our reception desk and bar area. There is no waiting area.

CHANGES TO YOUR SERVICE

We have now introduced Wet Cut only for men, we no longer provide dry cuts.

Drinks -As we are more than just a salon we are still providing drinks and we can confirm our glasses are thoroughly cleaned however if you would like to bring your own mug or glass, please feel free to do so.

Magazines – We no longer provide magazines but please feel free to provide your own reading material.

Toilets – Use of the toilets is permitted but we ask you to respect other customers and staff by using the sanitisation equipment provided.

Temperature taking –  We are checking our staff as they arrive for every shift.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Our team will be wearing full PPE throughout the day, which is certainly new for everyone. Please remember to be respectful of our team.

Hand Santisation – Please ensure that when you enter the salon, you use the sanitiser provided.

Towels and gowns – All our laundry will continue to be washed on a high temperature after every use. This ensures every client receives a fresh gown and towel on every service.

Cleaning – We have a very strict cleaning policy at Jo Ludlow Hairdressing. We also clean down our station after before/after every visit and all of our equipment and tools before use.

THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE ARRIVAL

Bring your face masks – All clients will be required to wear a face mask when in the salon. Please bring this with you. If you arrive without a mask, you will be able to purchase a disposable one from reception for the cost of £1.

No guests on your visit – Please do not bring other guests with you to your appointment due to social distancing guidelines.

No Lateness – We ask that you do not arrive late for your appointment and you come on time for your allocated appointment. As we are always booked up, we need to stick to time constraints.

No Earliness — As we have no room for you to wait, we also ask you to not arrive early for your appointment.

Please wait outside on arrival – When you arrive please kindly wait outside the door, until our receptionist comes outside to meet you.

No face to face communication – All consultations will be carried out in the reflection of the mirror.

We appreciate you taking the time to read our new measures and thank you for respecting the team and other customers.
